New MD For Conren

Conren Limited, leading UK specialist resin manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Ann Collins as the new Managing Director from 1st January 2011.

Ann took over form Chris McEwen who had worked for the company for 38 years and retired at the end of December 2010 after 20 years as Managing Director.

Joining Conren in 1992, Ann has progressed through the Company from Brand Manager to Business Development Director and gained a thorough knowledge of the commercial and technical aspects of the business.

Ann commented “Chris has developed Conren into one of the UK’s foremost providers of surfacing solutions. He has been an excellent mentor and it has been a privilege to work with him over the last 18 years I have been with Conren.

I am delighted to be continuing in his footsteps and work with the enthusiastic and dedicated team of people we have at Conren. The Company is well known for its high quality products and exceptional customer service and I look forward to building our portfolio of products in the future”.

2011 will be a landmark year for Conren who not only celebrate 40 years of trading, but will launch their new website and plan the release of several new products later in the year.
