Safety System at Stratford Station

Recently installed at Stratford Railway Station, Conren Truegrip epoxy surfacing provides platform safety underfoot at the track side.

The epoxy resin based coating was applied to precast concrete platform slabs manufactured by CPM Group Limited to meet the appropriate Network Rail specification for pedestrian areas on station platforms. Conren Truegrip incorporated a heavy duty black aggregate to produce a hardwearing safety surface specifically designed for external applications.

CPM Group Limited is a market leader in the supply, manufacture and design of precast concrete products for use in the rail industry and produced and treated the platforms prior to installation on site.

Truegrip is available in a range of colours and can be applied to asphalt, concrete, wood and metal substrates. It has a multitude of applications including cycle tracks, car parking zones, walkways, pedestrian bridges and virtually any external area where there is a need to provide a durable slip resistant finish.

For highway applications, Conren Truegrip BT is a BBA Approved high friction surfacing system used to reduce the risk of vehicle skidding and improve safety in critical areas such as approaches to roundabouts, pedestrian crossings and road junctions.
