Conren Carry on the Buses!

A £5m ultra-modern bus depot complex in Bournemouth has just been completed using Conren epoxy floor coatings.

Built by the Building division of Norwest Holst Limited for the Yellow Bus Company, the 4 acre site at Yeomans Way
incorporates storage for up to 120 buses and 20 coaches.

An area of approx. 1,700 m2 of new powerfloated concrete was firstly shotblasted and treated with WD Aquatect moisture vapour suppressant. The special properties of Conren’s WD Aquatect allowed early installation of the flooring works, in order to meet the project’s fast track programme.

Finally, Dustguard heavy duty epoxy resin coating was applied, complete with demarcation lines, to provide a hardwearing finish to the depot floor.
