Conren Aquasol
A high performance, water based, epoxy resin protective coating designed for floors, walls and ceilings. Aquasol HD (Heavy Duty) is also available for floors.

Conren Dustguard
A multi-purpose, heavy duty epoxy resin sealer designed to penetrate and strengthen concrete, screed and timber surfaces and provide a low maintenance finish.

Conren Congrip
A solvent-free, epoxy resin, non-slip coating designed to provide a hard-wearing, dust-free and chemically resistant finish for flooring in industrial and heavily pedestrianised areas.

Conren Enamelcoat
A range of solvent-free, high-build coatings designed for heavy industrial use and refurbishment projects.

Conren Decorscreed
A carefully selected blend of solvent-free epoxy resins, curing agents and graded coloured quartz aggregates providing a decorative, hard-wearing, impact and abrasion resistant floor screed.

Conren Levelay
An anti-slip, self smoothing and seamless epoxy resin decorative screed that is easily maintained and is 100% impervious. A textured version and specially developed Levelay systems for the nuclear industry and an anti-static version are also available.

Conren FS Screed
A heavy duty, epoxy resin floor screed designed to provide maximum resistance to wear in industrial environments.

Conren Hydrothane
A solvent-free, polyurethane, heavy duty floor screed designed for the more aggressive environments and offering excellent resistance to mechanical damage and chemical attack at higher temperatures including steam cleaning processes.

Conren Decktect
An impervious and very hard-wearing, low maintenance, non-slip surface membrane designed for car park decks, pedestrian walkways and vehicle access floors.

A high performance, water based, epoxy resin protective coating designed for floors, walls and ceilings. Aquasol is a low odour product and safe to use in confined spaces, near foodstuffs and in fire hazard areas. It is designed for use in pharmaceutical, food and beverage processing plants and other areas where strict hygiene demands a clean room environment.

Where non-slip coatings are required, Conren Stopslip aggregate may be incorporated into the system.

Colours: 8 standard colours are available. Other colours can be formulated on request, from both the BS4800 and RAL colour groups. Certain non-standard colours may be subject to a minimum order quantity or surcharge.

Where a higher level of durability is required, a heavy duty Aquasol HD option is recommended.

Conren recommend mechanical preparation for most substrates prior to installation of epoxy resin coatings/screeds and offer a range of primer systems to suit most situations.

Where the moisture content in a new concrete slab exceeds 75% RH, e.g. in fast track construction projects, Conren WD Aquatect, water vapour suppressant/primer should be used. Consult Conren for recommendations and details.

Existing surfaces must be clean, dry and free from contamination which can prevent the effective adhesion of coatings and screeds. For heavily oil contaminated surfaces, the concrete should be shotblasted and subjected to hot compresses air (HCA) followed by a holding primer of WD Bonder or WD Aquatect. Consult with Conren for full details.

Conren also produce Flexijoint, a joint system to suit all manner of construction methods, including crack induced/sawn joints and pre-formed expansion joints as well as coved skirting details and other finishing requirements.

Conren Dustguard / Back to top

A multi-purpose, heavy duty epoxy resin sealer designed to penetrate and strengthen concrete and other surfaces to protect and improve the appearance of industrial floors and provide a low maintenance finish. It has excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals.

Where non-slip coatings are required, Conren Stopslip aggregate may be incorporated into the system.

Colours: 9 standard colours are available. Other colours can be formulated on request, from both the BS4800 and RAL colour groups. Certain non-standard colours may be subject to a minimum order quantity or surcharge.

Conren WD Aquatect water vapour suppressant/primer has been developed for fast track construction requirements by improving surface adhesion and bonding of the flooring system to new concrete or where the presence of a DPM is suspect. It is applied to shotblasted concrete before installation of surface finishes. Depending on the concrete specification, this could be as early as 7 days after the concrete has been placed.

Conren Congrip / Back to top

A solvent-free, epoxy resin, non-slip coating designed to provide a hard-wearing, dust-free and chemically resistant finish for flooring in industrial and heavily pedestrianised areas. It can also be used on internal walkways, ramps, car parking sites and other areas where loss of traction is a safety consideration.

The Congrip system can also be used to enhance other Conren products and a number of different grades are available to achieve various surface textures.

Resin flooring reference: Congrip Heavy Duty Non-slip Coating, comprising Congrip Basecoat, aggregate and Congerip Topcoat.

Application:
Mix Congrip Basecoat and apply immediately using a paintbrush or lambswool roller. Within 20 to 30 minutes of application, broadcast aggregate across surface until there is no resin showing through. Allow to cure overnight.
Mix Congrip Topcoat and apply immediately using a paintbrush or lambswool roller as a thin continuous film. Avoid over application.

A range of solvent-free, high-build coatings designed for heavy industrial use and refurbishment projects in virtually any industry where floors and walls need to be both protected and decorative in appearance. The coatings are fast curing, easy to clean and maintain and are chemically resistant.

Where non-slip coatings are required, Conren Stopslip aggregate may be incorporated into the system: see technical information in this section. The coatings can also be reinforced with a fibre reinforced epoxy resin laminate to provide a high strength chemical resistant system.

A carefully selected blend of solvent-free epoxy resins, curing agents and graded coloured quartz aggregates providing a 4mm thick decorative, hard-wearing, impact and abrasion resistant floor surface. The screed is seamless, lightly textured and slip-resistant, designed for use in a wide range of industrial and commercial environments.

Colours: 8 standard colours are available. Non-standard mix designs can be supplied to suit the aesthetic requirements of individual projects. Certain non-standard colours may be subject to a minimum order quantity or surcharge.

An anti-slip, self smoothing and seamless epoxy resin decorative screed that is easily maintained and is 100% impervious. Designed for food and beverage, dairy, chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, automotive, aerospace and nuclear power industries where aesthetics have to be matched with hygiene and cleanliness.

Three grades are available:

Levelay HD - Standard grade.

Levelay Antistat - Recommended to control the problem of static electricity discharge in sensitive areas such as computer suites, electronic assembly and storage plants, laboratories and hospitals, and flammable storage zones.

Levelay HDT - A textured version designed for the more hazardous working environment, where liquid processes and occasional spillages increase potential safety problems. The textured screed combines high performance non-slip properties with permanency and durability.

Application thickness: 2 to 6mm.

Conren FS Screed / Back to top

A heavy duty, epoxy resin floor screed designed to provide maximum resistance to wear in industrial environments. The screed is designed to be laid on a variety of floor substrates and, when sealed, is completely impervious and resistant to most chemicals, acids, alkalis and solvents. It is many times stronger than concrete and is also designed for civil engineering projects and as a repair mortar for structural concrete.

Where non-slip finishes are required, Conren Congrip may be applied onto the FS Screed: see technical information in this section.

Application thickness: 3 to 20mm. Thicknesses above 20mm can be specified if economics allow – concult with Conren Ltd for recommendations.

Colours: 4 standard colours are available. FS Screed can also be sealed with various Conren coatings to extend the colour range – see M60/110.

A solvent-free, polyurethane, heavy duty floor screed designed for the more aggressive environments and offering excellent resistance to mechanical damage and chemical attack. The screed comprises selected resins and specially graded high strength aggregates providing an impervious finish designed for installations such as chemical, food and drink processing plants, breweries and abattoirs. Its non-slip surface is suitable for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic and it will resist high pressure hot water, steam processes and other harsh cleaning regimes.

Application thickness: 6 to 12mm.

Colours: 4 standard colours are available. Other colours can be formulated on request, from both the BS4800 and RAL colour groups. Certain non-standard colours may be subject to a minimum order quantity or surcharge.

Primer reference: Hydrothane Screed Primer applied with a stiff brush or roller. Porous floors may require two coats. Broadcast Primer Aggregate over surface immediately at rate of 0.25 kg/m?. Allow to cure overnight and then remove loose aggregate by brushing.

An impervious and very hard-wearing, low maintenance, non-slip surface waterproofing membrane designed for car park decks, pedestrian walkways and vehicle access floors. The coating is flexible and accommodates normal substrate movement without cracking.

Colours: 9 standard colours are available to provide demarcation of pedestrian zones, car parking bays and safety aisles. Other colours can be formulated on request, from both the BS4800 and RAL colour groups. Certain non-standard colours may be subject to a minimum order quantity or surcharge. Product colour samples are available on request from the Technical Sales Department.

10 RESIN FLOORING: TO CAR PARK DECKS

Preparation:
All substrates to be sound and free from contamination with oil, grease and other matter, removed by grinding, scabbling or shotblasting. Excessive laitance to be removed by vacuum blasting, grinding or light scabbling.

New concrete or cementitious substrates to have been placed for minimum 28 days and give Protimeter reading of less than 80% RH.

Steel substrate to be cleaned to bright metal finish by grinding or shotblasting to S.A. 2.5.

Primer reference:
Deckprime to concrete substrate.
Two-pack epoxy zinc primer to steel substrate.
Allow primer to become tack free before applying base coat

Resin flooring reference: Conren Decktect PU

Nominal thickness:
