Conren Truegrip TCD

Truegrip TCD is an epoxy resin based coated system formulated from carefully chosen raw materials. It is supplied in white, buff, red, blue and green colours as a two-component system in pre-weighed quantities ready for on-site mixing and use (lead-based yellow can also be supplied). The binder, when used with a refractory grade PSV 70 calcined bauxite aggregate (normally 1-3mm road grade or 0.5-1.4mm foot grade) will produce a high friction, high strength, impermeable and chemical resistant surfacing with excellent damage resistance. Accelerated weathering tests show no appreciable deterioration.

Base: Existing asphalt surface, made good as necessary / Existing concrete surface, made good as necessary

Preparation: Brush to remove all loose dirt and debris. Oil contamination must be thoroughly flushed from surface with water. Allow surface to fully dry before application. Substrates with poor adhesion to the underlying structure should be repaired or removed as appropriate. All perimeters should be masked with tape to produce neat edges. Manholes, drain gratings, road markings, gutters etc should also be masked with tape to prevent contamination. Concrete, metal or wood surfaces should be dry and free from contamination with oil and grease. Laitence should be removed mechanically and the surface primed with Highprime primer before application. The primer should be thoroughly dry (2 hours) before proceeding.
